“K brought ALL the energy. I was honored and privileged to bear witness to the truth of stories, the transformative power of self-determination, the call to action in their realness. If you want to be moved to a genuine place of empathy and agency, K is that one.”
– Tyrone Martinez-Black (Ty, He, They), Practice Integration Specialist, CASEL

“Working with K was beyond eye-opening. They brings a refreshing perspective to the mental health conversation, telling their story in a way that is accessible to an audience while remaining authentic. K uses her lived experience to challenge the accepted narrative surrounding mental health. He was a pleasure to work with on the podcast. I appreciate the conversation we were able to have and learned so much from their episode.”
– Dontae Freeman (He/Him), Communications Manager, Depression and Bipolar Alliance (DBSA) National Headquarters

“It’s rare to listen to a professional speaker that comes across as relatable as they are knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of listening to these qualities in K when they spoke. K dove deep into how to better understand individual identities and boundaries in order to create a more inclusive workplace. I was particularly impressed by K’s ability to navigate important and potentially “sensitive” topics candidly, and with sincerity, and nuance. Although this ability is rare, Katina has developed it masterfully. I would highly recommend K for any public speaking event where audience engagement and trust is needed!”
– Daniella Lockhart (She/Her), Senior Consultant, Learning & Organizational Development, Applied Learning Science
