Anita Kopacz is the author of the novels Shallow Waters and The Wind on Her Tongue (Simon & Schuster), both released under Charlemagne tha God’s Black Privilege Publishing imprint. She is an award-winning writer, Spiritual Psychologist, and Certified Tantra Coach with a passion for helping people thrive.
Previously, Anita served as Editor-in-Chief of Heart & Soul Magazine and Managing Editor of BeautyCents Magazine. She also founded the nonprofit Zero F’s Given, which raises awareness and supports healing for victimized and disenfranchised communities affected by sexual trauma. Through this work—and as a board member for the Center for Safety and Change—she has helped thousands reclaim their voice and power.
Anita earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at UC Berkeley, where she transitioned from Civil Engineering into the arts, focusing on the African Diaspora of Film and Drama. She later received her Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, training she now integrates into both her private practice and her character development as a novelist.
Through leading retreats with the Goddess Wisdom Council, working with clients, and writing, Anita fulfills her mission to awaken divine simplicity, pleasure, and joy in herself and others.
