I most often work with leaders who are in a transition – whether in life or in their career, or both. Instead of fearing the identity change that comes with those transitions, I work with clients to embrace the opportunity to redefine who they want to become.
As a leadership consultant, I work with learning and development teams to create impactful development programs for high potential leaders.

Carol is a leadership consultant, team facilitator, executive coach and entreprenuer. She focuses on helping individuals and teams consciously decide who they want to become, and then facilitates the process to make that transformation happen.
Carol’s work spans across levels and organizations, from the C-suite to director level, big four firms to start-ups. In her one-one-one work, she works closely with leaders to help them identify their guiding values, improve their leadership, create a vision for their future, and build fulfilling lives and careers.
With leadership teams and in focused group work, Carol helps leaders improve their team dynamics and gain organizational clarity by facilitating workshops on a number of topics, including strategic planning, roles & responsibilities, team communication, effective feedback, and managing conflict.
Carol previously served as the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer for USA Gymnastics, where she oversaw communications, marketing, events and partnerships. Prior to that, she spent nine years with Vail Resorts in Colorado, where she started as in-house legal counsel before moving on to become the first Chief of Staff to the CEO, and then Vice President of Communications and Marketing Operations. Prior to joining Vail Resorts, Carol started her legal career as an attorney with Gibson Dunn in Los Angeles.
Carol previously served on the Colorado Civil Rights Commission as well as the Board of Directors for The Girls Athletic Leadership School of Denver (GALS). Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Southern California.\
Together with her wife, Carol is also the co-founder of Helm Coffee Roasters, a coffee roastery based in Indianapolis, and Mamas at the Helm, an inclusive, new parent support community.
