SHE / HER / HERS
Kris Boesch is the CEO of Choose People—on the forefront of the workplace culture movement and has been around for over a decade. A workplace culture expert, Kris has been featured in Entrepreneur, Forbes and Inc., where she was recently named one of the “Top 100 Leadership Speakers”.
To create and sustain a thriving workplace culture team members must have the experience of being known, having their work matter and being included.
Thriving Workplace Culture
Your culture is literally the air your team breathes while running your marathon. It’s the context in which the work gets done. What is your team inhaling and exhaling? Participants discover first how to address toxic drama, gossip, silos and apathy and then how to create the three core pillars to a thriving workplace culture.
Culture Savvy Leadership
Your team is a reflection of you. You are the force multiplier. Intentional conscious awareness of your influence on your team is the first step. The second is proactively developing the character and competency needed to create an empowering work context for your team. Good news, there’s nothing else to add to your to-do list. Participants will discover a whole new way of being that uplifts and supports their entire team’s success.
Real Deal Team Building
A team divided is a team fallen. “Us vs them” will eat your lunch and it doesn’t matter if it’s inter-departmental discord, territorialism, staff vs. leadership or age bias. Nurturing cohesion of your team is one of the most effective actions you can take for both productivity and the emotional health of your team. Participants walk away with their own experiential learnings on how to create authentic meaningful exchanges within their teams.
Kind, Candid & Constructive Communication
Do people talk about people rather than to people in your organization? Are triangulation, drama and gossip commonplace? Teams discover how to have kind, candid and constructive communication coming from a place of care, concern and curiosity rather than from judgement or assumptions. Instilling the habit of courageous and compassionate communication will create both powerful psychological safety and trust across the team.
Speaking, Consulting & Workshops
Kris Boesch is known for providing highly interactive and energized workshops both on-site and online. She weaves valuable content, enlightening stories and tangible tools to support participants in grounding and activating concepts into their daily work experience.
Social Super Glue: How to Create Camaraderie in Your Workplace
In this workshop leaders learn how to create a culture grounded in the three pillars of Known, Matter and Included. These pillars cause voluntary collaboration, camaraderie and connection amongst teams. This experience of team cohesion not only generates ease and velocity in getting the work done, it also creates perseverance through tough times, inspiration to go the extra mile and retention of top talent.
How to Communicate in Funkytown: What to Say & How to Say It
This proven workshop creates team-wide commitment and capacity to directly resolve conflict. Through four clear actionable steps, your team will learn how to communicate kindly, candidly and constructively. Across a variety of organizations in a multitude of industries, the Funkytown training has repeatedly reduced drama, gossip and triangulation while increasing team cohesion and camaraderie.
Interdependency Awareness: Break Down Silos & Build Up Trust
Interdependency awareness leads to profound team mindfulness and team members who are not only committed to personal success, but also to the success of their co-workers and the organization as a whole. Emphasizing both the collective and collaboration, interdependency awareness creates a strong sense of belonging while dissipating divisions of “us vs them”.
Upend Time Management: How to Create Ease & Velocity
Overwhelmed? Never enough hours in the day? Is your to-do list both daunting and never ending? Stop the madness. Transform your relationship with time and create ease and velocity in your workday. Perhaps you’re a time optimist, a productive procrastinator or someone whose plan for the day always seems to get hijacked. Regardless of where you are today, you will walk away from this session equipped to be both more productive and less stressed.

“We wanted to extend a HUGE thank you from our team to you! Thank you again for giving such a meaningful talk and for being such a great person to work with. From our first discussion, we knew you would be a wonderful speaker for Carle Health. Your willingness to learn about us, our areas of improvement, and how you could help our leaders was much appreciated. Feedback from our CDI has been overwhelmingly positive and many leaders expressed appreciation for how useful your tools will be.”
– Brenna Kelley-Freiburger, MPH, CPH, Carle Experience Consultant, Carle Health
“AMAZING! AWESOME! I can’t wait to take this back to my workplace and start implementing! These types of comments were repeated over and over as our attendees filed out of Kris’s closing keynote at the HR Florida Conference & Expo. She even had our 2,700 attendees up and doing the chicken dance! She cleverly mixed valuable insights with interactive experiences. Boesch contributed to making our conference a huge success and was incredibly easy to work with. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a down-to-earth, high-energy keynote speaker who provides innovative and actionable content (and good dancing!).”
– Heather Deyrieux, President, HR Florida State Council Inc.
“Kris Boesch brought energy and excitement to the Utah Library Association’s Annual Conference. Her ideas and approaches to making the workplace better are innovative and empowering. I’ve already used what I learned to coach 2 of my employees in the few weeks since our conference. We had a diverse group of conference attendees and it’s not always easy to find a speaker who can resonate with everyone. Kris accomplished this and her keynote address was listed the most as the favorite session by our conference attendees.”
– Dan Compton, Director, Summit County Library
“Kris, you ROCKED it! You were the perfect fit as the keynote speaker for our annual AZ Women Leading Government. I’ve even had several attendees go out of their way to tell me you were their favorite speaker! What you shared really impacted our community and how many of them approach their work and their teams. Thank you for your contribution to creating extraordinary workplace cultures – and not just in the private sector, but in the public sector as well. Your message is important and your actionable recommendations and powerful takeaways were invaluable. Thank you for providing BOTH insightful innovative content AND tangible ways to meaningfully implement the ideas shared.”
