Solving the Riddle of Grief & Trauma Healing
How do we work past the stigmas and poor messaging that we all get about Trauma and Grieving so we can get the healing we need? And when we get that healing, what pieces need to be in place so it actually works? This two-part workshop addresses these essential challenges, so people are better informed, less intimidated, and have better success in their Grief & Trauma healing processes.
Management Training for Grief & Trauma Healing
How a workplace responds to a loss or traumatic event in the life of any employee has a deep impact – not only on how that employee heals, but also how they feel about where they work.
My initial training provides history, context and understanding of the issues around these sensitive topics, so management is well-informed. Then I can work with you to craft an approach for your team that protects your employees, your reputation, your financial stability and your company culture.

Wound Care for Traumatic Losses & Incidents
When a shocking incident or loss occurs, it can send your company spinning. Consulting an expert at this critical time shows empathetic leadership and a willingness to directly and honestly address the reality of the issue.
I provide a deeply customized assessment, depending on the incident involved, compassionate answers to these highly charged and emotional challenges, and advice on providing short-term and long-term support for your team. This includes the outline of my C.A.R.E. System, detailing the steps to create support that actually works on a human level.
Coaching
Claire does deep dives into the Grief & Trauma stories, challenges and history of her clients, to provide detailed insights and understanding as the foundation of healing work. That foundation creates the basis for collaborative tools and crafting of solutions and healing that actually work, empowering clients to feel heard, build trust and lighten their load.
Consulting
Claire works with organizations to craft solutions for Bereavement Policies, Trauma Support and building a more empathetic workplace.
“Claire is genuine, warm and has the ability to create a safe space for individuals impacted by traumatic events. I would recommend her without reservation to consult with any organization and present workshops on working through grief and trauma.”
– Prof. Dave Roberts, Professor, Utica University & host of The Teaching Journeys Podcast
“Claire has a unique gift for deep-reaching insight. She sees things you haven’t even admitted to yourself, and without pressure, gives you the time, space, tools and support to acknowledge and heal the deepest of wounds. She is fiercely dedicated to helping her clients break negative patterns, quiet fear and anxiety, set down guilt and shame, and recapture joy. I wish I had the words to adequately describe how different my life is now.”
– Jen Janetsky, Ann Arbor City Prosecutor/Senior Assistant City Attorney
“Talking to you helped me regather, think with perspective, adjust and move on with better understanding of myself. You let me say anything that was on my mind without worrying about being judged. Your caring and ability to just listen and say “it’s ok” humanized the situation and made me feel “it’s not just me”. So THANK YOU. You are very good at what you do.”
– Chuck M., Attorney
“Something that Claire did that I haven’t experienced before is share her experiences and present/past struggles in a way that enabled me to feel vulnerable in sharing my struggles. Claire is really great at developing relationships and finding commonalities across difference, while acknowledging and affirming those differences. Be prepared to go there with Claire as you uncover and discover what hurts, what sucks, but most importantly, what’s possible.”
– Mimi Owusu, Curriculum Designer and Doctoral Candidate
